Snow & Trail Condition Update - March 1, 2018
Snowmobile Trails -
Warm temperatures and sunny days have cause some deterioration in trail conditions, but cold overnights have helped maintained the base and kept the trails in mostly good condition. You may encounter some bare spots, but overall trails are still enjoyable and very ridable.
Be on the lookout for caution signs, detoured or closed trails- as that happens from time to time. Otherwise, expect good sledding.
With the warmer temperatures open water may start to appear on stream and swamp crossings. No ice should every be considered safe, use caution.
Look for updates as conditions change, and we receive -more updates.
Cross-Country Ski Trails -
Good to excellent conditions on all trails. Warm and sunny days means that trail conditions are better in the morning. A good base remains and with continuous grooming has the trails in excellent condition. Adjust your waxes as necessary.
All trails have track for classical skiing, and great groomed corduroy for freestyle (skate) skiing.
