Snow & Trail Condition Update - February 7, 2018
The trails are awesome. A additional inches of snow this past weekend along with consistent grooming has the trails in great condition with enjoyable riding throughout the County. The trails are seeing a fair amount of traffic, but clubs are doing their best to keep them in top notch condition.
Snowmobile Trailsย -
All Rusk County Snowmobile Trails are open and reporting good conditions throughout the County.ย Groomers are out on the trails nearly everyday, and a good base has been established.ย Be on the lookout for caution signs, detoured or closed trails- as that happens from time to time.ย Otherwise, expect good sledding.
This weekend's Snowmobile event is the Neighborly Sno-Goers Chicken & Chili Feed at Shep's Northshore Bar & Campground on Trail #31/Highway 40. http://ruskcountywi.com/event/neighborly-sno-goers-chicken-chili-feed/
Look for updates as conditions change, and we receive -more updates.
Cross-Country Ski Trails -ย
Top notch conditions on all trails. A good base with continuous grooming has the trails in excellent condition. Not much more can be said -- get out and glide.
All trails have track for classical skiing, and great groomed corduroy for freestyle (skate) skiing.
