Snow & Trail Condition Update - February 15, 2018
The trails remain awesome. Not much snow in the last week, and there have been a few warm days - but cold overnights along with routine grooming have kept the trails in great shape. The trails are seeing a fair amount of traffic, but clubs are doing their best to keep them in top notch condition.
Snowmobile Trails -
All Rusk County Snowmobile Trails are open and reporting great conditions throughout the County. Groomers are out on the trails nearly everyday, and a good base has been established. Be on the lookout for caution signs, detoured or closed trails- as that happens from time to time. Otherwise, expect good sledding.
This weekend's Snowmobile event is the Bruce Bluehills Trailblazers Fundraiser at the Wonderspot Resort on Trail #31/Highway 40. http://ruskcountywi.com/event/bruce-blue-hills-trailblazers-annual-fundraiser
Look for updates as conditions change, and we receive -more updates.
Cross-Country Ski Trails -
Top notch conditions on all trails. A good base with continuous grooming has the trails in excellent condition. Not much more can be said -- get out and glide.
All trails have track for classical skiing, and great groomed corduroy for freestyle (skate) skiing.
