Lambing season - the time of year at the farm where it feels like the start of a new year when the rhythm of life begins anew.

We're learning from the calendar of the flock and using this year's annual open house as the time to begin anew. We're looking to slow down, go back to the roots and passions that started all of this 19 years ago and we're asking you to come out and celebrate this new calendar of Maple Hill Farm with us.

Moving forward during the slow season and maybe longer, we will be adjusting staffed hours but will continue to offer self-service options. We will continue to offer our Maple Hill Farm meats, veggies, soaps, lotions, candles, and yes classes, but will be reducing some of our overhead on third-party products to the ones we personally feel passionate about, so use this opportunity to stock up on retiring products!

You'll always be able to find us at the Rusk County Farmers Market and the Bruce market and in the community. We're not going anywhere, just giving ourselves the chance to take a big deep breath and welcome newness!

So please, come out and celebrate with us March 15 from 10-2 along with our special guests, vendors and activities. As always, this is free will event. If you wish to donate, we appreciate it but it is not necessary.
