Flambeau River State Forest 29th annual Ski and Hike Event

Come explore the Flambeau River State Forest with us! Travel to the Flambeau Hills cross country ski trailhead (located on Hwy W in Sawyer County, 20 miles north of Hawkins). Here, a 1.2 mile trail loop will be groomed, tracked, and brightly lit with glowing candles for skiers, snowshoers, and hikers alike. Let the kids test out the sledding hill nearby, and warm up with some chili, hot dogs, cookies, bars, and spiced tea. Bring a treat to share if you please! As the night goes on, sit by the fire and swap stories with those around you. This is sure to be a night you won't want to miss!
