X-Country Ski trails in Rusk County are open and are seeing groomers.  A base of about 6" has been established, and is being packed.  Trails are still a little uneven and need more snow to get them leveled out.  Rock skiis are probably the best, but regular skiis would be alright if caution is used.   More snow is expected this weekend, with projections for up to a foot in the Blue Hills area, with 5-8" in Ladysmith.
