Snowmobile Trail Update – February 29, 2012
Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

Effective immediately – Rusk County Snowmobile Trails are OPEN. Trails WILL NOT be groomed, so expect less than good conditions. At this time it is unknown if or when grooming will occur. Get out and ride as the trails could use a packing before grooming would be effective. Use caution when riding, treat all water bodies (streams, rivers, swamps, etc.) as being unsafe. If you are on Corridor Trail #25 North of Hawkins, beware of bridge crossing- state of bridge unknown at this time. More updates as permitted.

The Ladysmith Lighted Loop and Sisters Farm trails have preivously been groomed and tracked, howeverw arm weather is deteriorating trails.

Thursday, February 16th, 2012

Trails are closed due to lack of snow, and unless we get a huge dumping in the near future – the entire season may be lost. Another above freezing stretch of days is in progress and should melt what little base there is.
